Editorial transparency

How this archive separates first-hand accounts, public records, independent evidence and connected current sources

Telemedia.ua does not present every historical statement as equally verifiable. Each important claim is classified by source type, discrepancies are disclosed, and uncertain details are not converted into confident corporate language.

Source taxonomy

Four evidence classes

Founder account

Company archive and first-hand recollection

Used for operational events that public records rarely capture: the first broadcast response, the ERP/CRM launch failure, the role of catalogues, ownership consolidation, internal brand strategy and the 8 June 2015 launch.

These statements are attributed to Slavko Kumer rather than presented as anonymous objective records.

Public record

Corporate and trademark registers

Used for registration dates, company identifiers, present legal ownership and public trademark status. Register data is time-sensitive and is stated with a verification date.

Public records can identify legal entities; they do not by themselves explain where an operating business or know-how moved.

Independent source

Independent conference and marketplace archives

Used to confirm public visibility, professional participation and how names appeared outside the organisation during the historical period. These sources are preserved even when their wording differs from the internal chronology.

Expired offers are never treated as current availability.

Connected current source

Telmone corporate and retail pages

Used to document the present-day Telmone context, current publisher responsibility and current portfolio positioning. They are first-party/connected sources and are never presented as independent confirmation of Telemedia history.

Where a historical claim requires independent corroboration, the archive relies on public records or genuinely external historical sources instead.

Public source register

Sources used in the published archive

Links open the original external source. Telemedia.ua summarizes rather than republishes third-party content.

Registry-data note: Opendatabot is a third-party service that presents data drawn from Ukrainian public registers. This archive uses those pages as access points to registry data, not as independent narrative corroboration.

Discrepancy note

Why 2016–2017 Telemedia-labelled offers do not reset the 2015 transition date

Pokupon preserves promotions using the Telemedia.ua profile after the 8 June 2015 Telmone umbrella launch. The internal account says that the principal identity and printed catalogue had already moved to Telmone.

Both facts can coexist. Third-party merchant profiles, campaign naming or staff workflows can retain an older public label after an internal umbrella changes. The external pages prove that the Telemedia name remained visible; they do not establish that it remained the principal corporate identity.

The archive therefore cites the pages, describes their evidentiary limit and keeps the 2015 succession date based on the first-hand internal chronology.

Correction policy

Material factual corrections are published transparently

Corrections should identify the statement, provide supporting material and explain whether the issue concerns a legal record, public naming or first-hand business history.
